I'm Baaaack!

Hey all!

I'm back from NY. And I have two suitcases full of stuff to prove it. It's not really souvenirs, more like just really awesome things.

That's all I wanted to say. I should go, my cook just made some yummy ribs!!!

In the city that never sleeps!

Greetings from New York, loves!!

I've been crazy busy with band, but I had to bring my laptop for homework and decided to be nice and blog.

Sorry that's pretty much it!

Good Bye May!

Well I know I'm a little early for a So Long May tribute, but I'll be gone to New York until June 5th for band. So I have to do it now.

In May I:

-Met a guy

-Went to a dance with that guy

-Kissed that guy in the middle of a thunderstorm (It was romantic :)

-Lost a best friend

-Spilled a secret that wasn't mine to spill

-Failed a math test

-Gained a new friend

-Went to war with ex friend

-Bought a dress for prom

-Went to Victoria

-Came in first in a huge tennis match

-Discovered I could sing

I actually enjoyed this month, except for the falling out with a friend. But hey, that's life, right?

By the way, I somehow ended up signing up to sing 'No More' by Heidi Montag for my school Sing-a-palooza. Yeah, we actually have a Sing-a-palooza *hangs head in shame and embarrassment* But it's pretty fun sometimes.

And I'm a huge Heidi fan and the song is one of my favourites so I should do good!

Confuzzeled.........

I was looking through old folders and documents and crap when I stumbled across a story I was going to post, but then never did. It has some pretty good potential.

But it's a Massington. See, when I first started reading the Clique, I was one of those 'OMG MASSINGTON!!!!!' fangirls. Then, when I joined FF, I saw how many fangirls they had. And yet my love for them grew.

But sometime last year, I saw something called Tassie. OOO, the magical crackiness of MassiexTodd!!! Instantly, I was sucked in. I read everything about Tassie, and even started to write one (But I never finished it!).

Then during the summer, I came across MassiexDanny.

Now THAT is what I'm talking about!!! I mean, yeah all of those other Massiexsomeone couples are cool I guess. But Danny disappeared! He's all gone and stuff, and then the lovely writers of FF decided to bring him back!!!

So I guess my favourite couples would be:

Massie and Danny
Dylan and Derrick (!!! THIS IS THE BEST!!!!)
Claire and Josh
Kristen and Cam
Alicia and Chris Plovert

I have other favourites, but these are my main ones.

BTW, lovelies, I'll be gone for about four days because I have to go to Victoria!!!

Oh...

Ok, you know when you start something, and its kind of like 'I don't want to do this!', and then once its over, you're all sad?

Well that's like me and my friend Jessica (Girly.X.Girl from FF) about our collab, Apple-C.

When we first started, I didn't really want to do it. But today me and Jess were talking on MSN and we realized we're almost done the story.

Jessica: can you believe apple-c is almost done?
me: what?!? it is?!?! since when?!?!
Jessica: *shakes head* maggers, we only have like 6 more chapters...
me: NOOOO! dude ur joking, right?
Jessica: nope
me: rawr
Jessica: maggie im leaving you so you can have a panic attack
me: O___o

So, it kind of ended weird...but, seriously, when it ends I will be sad!

Oops......

Well I haven't done anything useful lately...It makes me feel kind of bad. Like, I haven't responded to any e-mails, I haven't updated or even worked on my stories, I haven't been practicing flute or piano, and I haven't gotten a manicure!

Honestly, all I've been doing is Facebooking, studying for finals, talking on Gmail and texting people like crazy!

I haven't even fed my dog! She's one of those mini eskimo puppies. She's white, weighs a kilo and is named Daisy :)

But I've had to get someone to feed her because I keep forgetting. I know, worst dog owner ever!

Determination

I'd have to say I'm the most determined person I know.

I hate giving up. Like today in cooking, my cookies tasted like sawdust, but now that I'm home (On Wednesday's I get a half-day), I'm trying to make them again. If they fail, I'll end up making them again.

That's probably a flaw of mine. I guess I have to much pride, and I'm determined that I can do everything.

Right now, I'm determined to improve my writing skills. My dream is to have a book on the Best Seller's list. I've wanted to be an author since before I can remember, and I've never let my writing go unnoticed.

Before I discovered Fanfiction, I would send my stories out to my family, and get their feedback on it. On short stories for Creative Writing, my short stories would end up being 54 pages long.

The Last Olympian

This is the final and best book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.

I cried when it ended. I actually cried during most of the chapters, but I'm super emotional so that's probably why.

[Taken from book summary]

All year the half-bloods have been preparing for battle against the Titans, knowing the odds of victory are grim. Kronos's army is stronger than ever, and with every god and half-blood he recruits, the evil Titan's power only grows.

While the Olympians struggle to contain the rampaging monster Typhon, Kronos begins his advance on New York City, where Mount Olympus stands virtually unguarded. Now it's up to Percy Jackson and an army of young demigods to stop the lord of time.

The book came out on Tuesday, May 5th, and I bought it that day. The reason it took so long for me to review it was because I didn't read the last three chapters until this morning.

I didn't want the series to end, so I put off reading the end and hid the book in my closet. But this morning I cracked, took it out, read it and then cried.

I loved this book the most because a) it was just amazing, b) There was FINALLY Annabeth and Percy lovey-doveyness and c) the detail, the plot, the descriptions and the whole book was epic.

I can't even describe it. But the end made me extremely happy, even though two of my favourite characters died (But at least they'll be in love down in Elysium!!!).

Anyway, I can't really say that much about it without giving stuff away. But in Rick's acknowledgments, he says -and I quote- 'As the first Camp Half-Blood series comes to an end...'

Anyone else catch the 'First'? Yeah, lovelies, there may be another. Especially with that new prophecy to worry about...

Don't worry, I'll stalk and annoy the crap out of Rick until I find out.

I copied this from Maddie's blog

Hey guys, sorry I didn't blog for a few days. I was at my cousins' house. Just a question: Is it normal for nine year olds to talk like stoners?

Anyway I was reading Maddie's blog (Welcome to Maddieland) and copied her.

1) What author do you own the most books by? Lisi Harrison...kind of pathetic.

2) What book do you own the most copies of? Um, The Lightning Thief. Three copies, one from mom, one from grandma and one from dad.

3) Did it bother you that both those questions ended with prepositions?Haha, not really. I noticed because I'm a total grammar snob, but it did not bother me ;)

4) What fictional character are you secretly in love with? Hm...I would have to say Percy Jackson from the PJO series. I have a thing for heroes and green eyes :)

5) What book have you read the most times in your life (excluding picture books read to children; i.e., Goodnight Moon does not count)? Gossip Girl. Ah, the memories of reading them.

6) What was your favorite book when you were ten years old? Little House on the Prairie.

7) What is the worst book you've read in the past year? The Amber Spyglass

8) What is the best book you've read in the past year? The Battle of the Labyrinth

9) If you could force everyone you tagged to read one book, what would it be? Ummm The Clique :)

10) Who deserves to win the next Nobel Prize for Literature? No clue. Rick Riordan maybe...

11) What book would you most like to see made into a movie? Hm...House of Night

12) What book would you least like to see made into a movie? The Ashleys.

13) Describe your weirdest dream involving a writer, book, or literary character. Well, I was on a plane, and then sitting next to me was Percy Jackson. We were called up to Mt. Olympus and Bella Swan was there to greet us. It was odd.

14) What is the most lowbrow book you've read as an adult? I am not an adult so I'm not sure.

15) What is the most difficult book you've ever read? The Host. I guess I was expecting it to be like Twilight, and it wasn't so I never got into it.

16) What is the most obscure Shakespeare play you've seen? Um, Midsummer Night's Dream.

17) Do you prefer the French or the Russians? Um French. Just because France is so beautiful.

18) Roth or Updike? Not really sure who or what Roth or Updike is.

19) David Sedaris or Dave Eggers? What is that?

20) Shakespeare, Milton, or Chaucer? Shakespeare, he's the only one I know.

21) Austen or Eliot? Austen.

23) What is your favorite novel? The Battle of the Labyrinth.

24) Play? Legally Blonde the Musical. Saw it on Broadway and adored it!

25) Poem? Don't have one.

26) Essay? Don't have one either

27) Short Story? I have too many to count!

28) Work of nonfiction? Hopefully by the time I'm out of college I'll have an answer to all of these questions.

29) Who is your favorite writer? Rick Riordan kicks ass!

30) Who is the most overrated writer alive today? Stephenie Meyer. Her series actually wasn't that great!

31) What is your desert island book? Hm, my Greek Myth Treasury. So many Greek Myths to pass the time away.

32) And... what are you reading right now? The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan!

I Don't Really Have a Name For the Blog...

Hey all!

I don't know what happened to the other book reviews I did...I guess I didn't post or something. I'm too lazy to re-type them out but the books I had reviewed were:

-Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Battle of the Labyrinth
-MAX (Maximum Ride book)
-Love Is a Many Trousered Thing

Let's just say I loved them all!

In other news, I started a new story. Its a Dylington! Yay! I don't know why people don't like DylanxDerrick! I mean, could there be a more perfect couple?

I literally jumped out of my chair and danced when I read PS I Loathe You and it got to the Dylington part. Sadly, I was on my balcony and my lovely neighbours saw me.

New topic. Why are there differences in Canadian and American spelling?
American: Color Canadian: Colour
American: Neighbor Canadian: Neighbour
American: Favorite Canadian: Favourite

Yes, its only a 'U' that's different but why? I hate it, because when writing a story, I'll type the Canadian version and it'll have that annoying red line underneath!

Another new topic. I'm almost 16!!!!!!!!!!! Well on October 5th I will be. But still its so soon!!!!! And sadly, I still have not gotten my license. During my test to get my learner's, I crashed into a tree.

The reason I didn't give this blog a title was because it was so random!

Nobody's Princess

Ok, first let me say I adore Helen of Troy. She is my idol, even though she's fictional. She's everything I aspire to be: brave, cunning, sneaky...

[Taken from book summary]

Not one to count on the gods -or her looks- to take care of her, Helen sets out to get what she wants steely determination and a sassy attitude. And while it's that attitude that gets Helen a few enemies -Such as the self proclaimed 'Son of Posiedon', Theseus- its also what intrigues, charms and amuses those who are her friends from the famed huntress Atalanta to the young priestess who is the Oracle of Delphi.

This is basically a fictional story of what happened in Helen's childhood -when she was young Helen of Sparta, desitined to be Sparta's future queen.

I loved this book because she defies everything about Sparta. Her sister, Clytemnestra is like the golden girl. She sits at the loom all day, weaving and embroidering.

This book kind of hit home for me, because Clytemnestra and Helen are a lot like me and my sister. My sister Ruby is the good girl who does everything my parents say and is a total priss.

While I don't always listen to my parents, and let's face it, I'd rather party then do whatever it is my sister does.

Clytemnestra often accuses Helen of always getting her way because she's the prettier sister. That seems true, which is pretty harsh.

Anyway, I give this book 10 stars, and if you like Greek mythology I insist you read it. I'm tracking down the sequel, Nobody's Prize, so when I find it I will review.

5 Questions I've Always Wondered

So this morning as I was in the shower before school, I started thinking the randomest thoughts. I have really random thoughts most of the time like 'Oh a kitty! Do Kitties have belly buttons? Do they have livers?' and things like that.

But these thoughts came out of no where. Anyway here are 5 questions that popped into my mind this morning:

1. What's the yellow, butter substitute on microwave popcorn? Its not butter...so...what is it...and what's it made out of? 'Cause honestly...I don't think I want to eat it anymore...

2. Why are designer clothes more expensive than regular clothes? They're basically the same. I mean, I buy designer clothes, but I'm not sure why I spend more money, when I could buy Wal-Mart clothes.

3. Why does metal explode when its in the microwave? I found that out the hard way. My cook had the night off, so I decided to make a can of soup. Into the microwave it went. The next morning we bought a new microwave and I knew never to cook again.

4. Why are there so many stereotypes? I mean, how come rich people are snobs, blondes are dumb and cheerleaders are sluts? Those are all stereotypes I've had thrown at me. I don't consider myself a dumb snobby slut, so everyone else shouldn't either.

5. Why is cheesecake so delicious? I adore cheese cake. It is like a god-given food. Why? Why must it tempt me with its deliciousness???

So there are the questions that haunt me. BTW, expect a bunch of book reviews today, since I've read like 13 books and haven't reviewed any!

Les Sigh

Well, I'm not leaving the wonderful joy that is blogging. Yeah, I'm happy too.

Still not sure about FF though...

But I didn't write this to depress you. So...the Canucks are rocking! Yay! Chicago is also doing pretty good (My dad's a Blackhawk fan).

If you have no idea what I'm talking about it's because you are not clued in to the...something cup. I'm not entirely sure what cup it is.

The only reason I know of this is because my best friend's uncle is a Canuck so I have to be filled in.

Leaving?

Hey guys.

I think I might leave Fanfiction and this blog for a while, just because one of my best friends ever Kristen (Coco-Chanel333 on FF) is almost dead. She was in a car accident and is now in a coma and clinging to life.

I recieved an e-mail from her mom explaining it all to me, and even now -60 minutes after I read it- I'm still crying.

The reason I might leave FF is because Kristen and I spent so much time on there, laughing at some people's horrible stories, crying over Maddie's 9/11 story (Kristen lost her dad there). There's a lot of memories between us on FF and I don't think I want to be on there if she's not.

I don't know for sure if I'm leaving. I have other friends on FF and am collabing with Jessica, so if I left she'd be pretty pissed.

But please, keep Kristen and her family in your prayers, even if you don't know her.

The Yummiest Place Ever

Ok, ever wander into a shop and then never come out? That happened to me on Monday, except I came out after about two hours. I was waiting for a friend in east Vancouver and discovered the holy grail of food.

Three words, kitties: Anna's Cake House.

Honestly, Anna makes the BEST baking ever. Mousse cakes, cheese cakes, wedding cakes, birthday cakes. And that's not even all of them. They also do pastries, cupcakes, breads and buns.

Everything in there is so delicious. I bought the Napolean Cream Cake because I was babysitting my cousins and they love cake. Amazing.

Seriously, if you're ever in Vancouver and in need of a delicious treat, go find Anna's Cake House.

I'm in a kick ass mood

I'm pretty happy today because I FINALLY saw the Hannah Montanna movie. Honestly, it made my week. I laughed so hard at parts and then there would be a really shocked silence in the theatre, and of course, I had to burst out laughing.

I was actually suprised at how much I enjoyed it. And let me tell you, Travis (Lucas Till) was H-O-T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But my favourite was cousin Derrick (Jared Carter). He was just completely awesome. So was Harlow, his furry companion.

I learned how to do the Hoedown Throwdown, and I'm as good as Tyra (The credits were hilarious). Ok, maybe not Tyra but totally as good as Derrick!

'Because you live and breathe, because you make me believe in myself'

This morning I was cleaning out my closet, looking for old purses and crap to donate to this charity thingy. I found my favourite purse from when I was 12 and 13 and 14. I loved it. It was baby blue with had Tinkerbell on it with the quote 'All you need is Magic'.

It was heavier than it should've been, so I looked in it. I found 25 bucks, an old wallet, pictures from the mall (You know those ones from a photobooth), and my old purple iPod.

When I was doing homework, I decided to try the old iPod, and it was still charged! Oh my god, the songs were so old and pre teen-ish. There was Jesse McCartney, Ashely Tisdale, High School Musical, Hannah Montanna. Wow, I had really bad tasted in music ;)

But the Jesse music was really good. So I went on iTunes, bought all the JMac songs I could, and became re-obsessed. Nice, huh?

Well, gotta go listen to my iPod now that it's all Jesse-fied.

Yay Easter Break!

Hey all!

I'm in a great mood today. Like, honestly I could bounce off a wall! Because...

Disney is making a movie out of the book The Lightning Theif by Rick Riordan :)

It's Easter Break :)

There's a huge party tonight :)

I'm writing stories that are getting reviews :)

I'm going to see the Jonas Brothers in June :)

Ok, I know I'm 15 and shouldn't still be in love with Nick Jonas, but I can't help it. So I bought tickets, I know it's sad. But I'm not!

I'm kind of sad/happy :S

Ever be in that mood where you're happy but then you're really sad?

That had been my mood for the past three days. And I'm not entirely sure why. Its not mood swings, I'm just...happy/sad!

Reasons why I'm sad:

-There's a huge dance at school and I don't have a date.

-Normally, that wouldn't bother me, but all of my friends have dates.

-The guy I like (see previous post) has a girlfriend.

Reasons why I'm happy:

-My friends are the best ever!

-I'm at one hundred reviews for a FF story :)

-I posted a new FF story :)

-Summer OhNine is almost here!!!!

So its just messed up.

Complicated!

As April began I realized how much more complicated my life was becoming withing the last three months of school.

Today was hell. Not hell as in ninth grade, but hell as in complicated. Complications in sequence:

1. A boy who I always thought didn't know me admitted he liked me more than friends. Since when were we 'friends'?

2. I don't like this boy (See above). I like someone who used to like me but now I'm not sure.

3. My best friend just got in a huge and horrible fight with our enemy. Can anyone say WWIII?

4. I'm pretty sure I failed a math test that counts for forty percent of my grade.

5. The boy who admitted to liking me has now began stalking me.

6. April Fool's Day began with an all out prank war in which I lost my favourite pair of sunglasses.

7. It began to snow today. Why does it snow in APRIL?

8. After seeing Knowing, I'm afraid that the world will end (It was in the bible too!).

9. Next year is eleventh grade.

10. I honestly don't think I can handle any of the about without alot of coffee.

But when the world tosses you some sour lemons, you just gotta hang on.
So bring it.

Too much FF!

Well, I know I haven't updated any of my stories in forever (Sorry) but I seem to be stuck. I only get through writing Apple-C with threats from my co author Jessica, and the readers' nagging. But I am getting back in the game. Last week I wrote my Apple-C chapter without Jessica even starting to have to nag me.

I updated Knowing Me, Knowing You. I've actually finished writing the next seven chapters, so be good and review and the updates will come soon! And I've been thinking about the Sequel to it...

I'm thinking of writing a new story. Not sure if I will post it, but I might.

Knowing

I couldn't find a picture for Knowing, sorry guys :(

A teacher opens a time capsule that has been dug up at his son's elementary school; in it are some chilling predictions -- some that have already occurred and others that are about to -- that lead him to believe his family plays a role in the events that are about to unfold. (Plot taken from magazine)

This movie is my favourite. Now and forever. I cried a lot during the movie. For most of it I had tears rolling down my face.

John (Nicolas Cage) figures out that the numbers on a letter from the 50's mean the date, the lattitude and longitude and how many people will die. Stopping these events from happeneing becomes his life.

The end is what hit me the most. I was sobbing by the time I got out of the theatre. I can't really explain it, it was just...Well you have to see it to know what I mean.

It was totally a ten out of ten, a five star movie.

:)

A River Flows in You

Hey all!

I was listening to A River Flows in You by Yiruma, and I really like that song. Personally, I think they should have kept it as Bella's Lullaby, but the REAL Bella's lullaby is nice too.

Anyway sorry for now blogging. I'll explain to you my week so far as to why I couldn't blog:

On Friday, Gabby and I slept over at Erica's and we had a scary movie marathon. I'm really good with scary movies and I can watch them start to finish without covering my eyes, but Erica and Gabby were hiding under the blankets for most of the movies. My favourite was The Ammityville Horror.

On Saturday I hung out with Erica and then went shopping.

Sunday I went to church, then made Sock Monkeys for charity. I bought six of them but its for charity so it's all good ;)

Then I met up with Gabby and we went to go see Knowing (Review on that later). She jumped and screamed so much it wasnt even funny!

Monday I had school (ew) then flag football practice. I'm in pain from a pulled muscle.

Tuesday. School, baby sitting and then cheerleading.

Wednesday I had a huge cheeroff after school.

And today I'm sick so I shall blog.

:)

I think I'm obsessed again!

This morning I bought the Twilight movie. When I saw it in theatres, I thought 'Whatever. This movie kinda sucks.' For those of you out there hating me for saying this, the reason I thought it sucked was because the book was absolutely phenomenal. If the movie didn't have the book to live up to, I would've loved it. But nothing could compare with the book.

But, today when I popped it in my MacBook, I decided to watch it with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and the directer's comentary on it. Some of the things were really funny! So I recommend when watching it, to watch it with the comentary! I think that I'm now obsessed with Twilight again.

Speaking of obsessions, the Hills starts again on April 6!! I love The Hills, it's my favourite show. So now I'm counting down the days.

Blog is too random to have an official title!!

This blog is going to be very random, very odd and very rambly ;)

First thing I want to talk about: How many Maggies are in this world??? I mean seriously, can't I be the only one? How many people named...Poe do you know? Hahaha that rhymed. Ok but to be honest not a lot of people are named Poe...
Anyway, today I'm shopping and the perfume lady's name tag says Maggie M. Then in the same store, the lady who helps with jewellery's name is Maggie R. Grr. Then I stopped at Starbucks on my way home and the barista's name was Maggie as well! And my neighbour got these exchange students from Paris in and they're staying at his house, and one's name is Maggie. MAGGIE ISN'T A FRENCH NAME! Is it? I kind of suck at French.

Alright. Now that I've gotten my Maggie Anger out I'll talk about the next thing: Did you realize if you switch the 'G's in my name with an S it spells Massie? I just found that out when mistyping my name just now. Hey if you switched them with D's it'd be Maddie...and with N's it'd be Mannie! Ok I think you spell Mannie with a Y instead of IE. Whatever.

Third thing: I'm starting yet another new story on FF...and it's one of those overly cliched stories. Speaking of stories, Apple-C the best collab ever is coming to an end. I'm actually pretty sad because I found that it was amazing. And yes that is concieted. So I'm now up for collabs if anyone wants my awful writing in a story!

Well yeah that's basically all I had to blog about!

Back in Vancouver

Hey guys I'm back in Vancouver. As much as I loved the constant sun of LA, rainy Vancouver is much better!

Speaking of 'Rainy Vancouver' I guess Chris Weitz decided that Vancouver was the perfect setting for New Moon. I'm really excited to have them shooting it here because I'm a Vancouver native.

And so I got into Vancouver around 6 this morning so on my way home I decided to stop at Starbucks. When I walked in, there's Taylor Lautner. Honestly, it took all of my willpower not to scream and attack him. But I did get an autograph and hug :)

Hey, is it just me or is Fanfiction boring lately? No offence to the people who have stories out right now, but I'm just bored of them. Even my stories I'm losing interest in. I've been reading and reviewing in other stories, but Clique has lost all of my interest.

I am in the Land of Disney!

Well my mono has cleared up and I'm sore throat free! :D

It is spring break for me so I decided to kick it old school and head down to LA. I LOVE California. The sun, the guys, the surfing, Disneyland and the San Diego zoo. So for SB I rounded up my friends and came down here.

The best part of all this is -besides the facts I'm in Disneyland and with Matthew- is that my parents agreed to buy me a yellow porcshe! While I was sick I kept re reading book like New Moon and decided I REALLY wanted a yellow porcshe a la Alice. As a get well present my parents got me one, so I've been driving through LA in it.

Anyway I'd better go to bed since I'm so tired from this morning's 3 am flight.

Sorry

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of bloggage lately. I've been condemned to bed rest for the past week. And I've felt so crappy that I can't even blog. I have mono :(

Honestly, all I've been doing for the past week is eating vanilla Ben and Jerry's, shopping online and watching chick flicks. So sorry because I haven't updated any of my stories in forever! :(

On the plus side, I just bought a super cute Gucci purse!

On the OTHER bad side, I lost my purse that held: my favourite Gucci sunglasses, my favourite Coach wallet, luckily no credit cards or cash, and Stride gum :(

Anyway, I need more ice cream. I just thought I'd check in and let you all know I'm not dead...yet.

OH!!!!!!!! And last week I found a sport that I'm amazing at! The reason I do cheerleading (besides the fact that I love it) is because I suck at every other sport. But in gym we did flag football and I am so good! I scored nine touchdowns and got everyone's flag. My super pervy gym teacher commented on my and I quote 'nice long legs that are good for running'. Swear to god, he's like 40 and has a crush on me. And now I'm on the flag football team which I am not happy about since he coaches it. Lucky him, he gets to stare at my nice long legs allllllll day now.

I am on Cloud Nine...not litterally 'cause there's no clouds in the sky today!!!

Yah, I know, super long blog title.

But I AM on cloud nine...I think. I've never in my life dated someone who made me feel...I dunno, jittery, someone who made my knees go weak, someone who at the sight of makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over. But with Matthew its like that. Think of how Bella felt (Back in the human days) when she neared Edward.

Last night I was bored out of my mind because there were no parties I wanted to go to when Matthew called. He asked if I wanted to go tobogganing, and I said sure. Did I mention that I've been tobogganing only three times that I can remember, and each time I've broken or sprained or cut something?

Anyway he came and picked me up, and we drove to this huge tobogganing hill. And I DIDN'T BREAK ANYTHING!! YAY! But after that I was so cold and I drank enough hot chocolate to make me puke, plus I ate a bunch of his grandma's chocolate chip cookies (Yummers!). And they were good :)

Except now its Sunday and I'm back to being lonely. I'm holed up in my room, pretending to do my math homework. You know what? I don't think I'm going to leave my room all day. My parents are down in Maine so I'd have no one to talk to except the staff anyway.

Anyway have a good sunday!!

Paul Blart: Mall Cop

So I just got back from seeing Paul Blart: Mall Cop, and I must say, I don't usually watch these kind of movies, but I think I cried from laughing so hard.

Paul Blart (Kevin James) never made it into the police force, so instead of giving up, he became a mall cop. And he rides a scooter, one that I want really badly :)

I thought it was absolutley hilarious, and I was shaking with laughter throughout the whole movie! There was one part where I actually spit out Coke Zero on the seat in front of me. Oops...

The end was what made me happiest, because for the first time in a long time Paul Blart was truely happy, and he saved the mall. And in my opinion, the mall is just amazing.

When I was done the movie, I went to the local Burger King and played in the ball pit. Sure, my hair got staticky, sure my shoes were ruined (Though I might of spit pop on them by accident) and sure, Matthew and I were too big for the ball pit, but after seeing the enormous ball pit in the movie, I needed to play in one.

Over all, I'd give the movie 4 stars.

Life is too short

Life is too short to waste time being mad at friends who date your ex -especially when YOU broke up with them- even if you still love them.
That was the speech I gave to Erica this morning. I went almost a week without talking to her or Alana, and that was almost a week too long.

I've always been a spur of the moment type of girl because I think life is too short to be boring. Its also too short to not talk to people over stupid arguments, to waste time with people you don't care about or to be a bitch. And yes, that's coming from a major bitch ;)

So today, after Erica, Gabby, Alana and I made up, we decided to go to the movies with Dylan -sigh-, Jeremy, Aaron and Matthew. We went to see Paul Blart: Mall Cop, so expect a review from that to come. And even though I was hanging out with Dylan, I felt fine...but I may have discovered that I really like Matthew...even though he just broke up with someone.

Oh well, you know what they say -life's too short to waste time with ones you don't love.

:)
Hey, notice that smiley face :):):)

Gives You Hell

This blog is written by a very angry, very sad, very suicidal Maggie.
Ok, maybe not suicidal. But then it was written by a very angry, very sad, very depressed Maggie :(:(:(

Life has turned the cards on me. Just Saturday, I was back from vacation, room full of crap from people who love and/or adore me. Today however, life has given me hell (Hence the title).

I used to date this eleventh grade hottie named Dylan. I was in love with him. But then I broke up with him...just because we were too different. And that's the problem with me- I need everything to be perfect, and he just...wasn't. No that's not it. He was perfect! He's a football player, I'm a cheerleader; We both have blonde hair (But mine is platinum, his is caramely); we bot loved parties, we both loved buying each other presents! But for me it didn't work. So I broke up with him and even though it was my choice, I cried for like four days :'(

Anyway, my arch enemy Taylor -grade twelve, head cheerleader, also blonde, also really pretty) liked him too. So as soon I dumped him she was all over him like...flies to garbage. Soon they got together. I was like devestated, but soon remembered it was MY choice. Besides, it was Taylor, maybe she didn't even like him but was doing it to make me sad. Who knows?

But then last month Taylor realized it was her last year in high school and decided to be my BFF. Fat chance, sweetie. She still sucks up to me, but like so does everyone. So she dumped him. Chicks before dicks, sisters before misters, etc...

So today I tried calling one of my best friend's Erica all morning. She was supposed to meet me at Starbucks before school and didn't show up. She also wouldn't answer her phone. But my other two BFFs Gabby and Alana said they'd talked to her. So that left one thing: she was avoiding me.

Finally, right before lunch I found her and cornered her. Then who walks by? Dylan! And he gives her a kiss on the cheek and tells her to meet him for lunch in the caf. By this time I've figured out what happened. Erica went behind my back and started dating Dylan, although she still know how crazy I am about him.

Alana and Gabby saw me talking to her so they came over, I told them what happened and Gabby was extremely pissed. I mean, hello? You're NOT supposed to date you best friend's ex, especially if she stilled loved him. Alana told her she was being a hypocrite, since when Alana dumped her long-time BF Jeremy, he and Gabby got together. So Alana took Erica's side and Gabby took mine. And just like that, our friendship was ruined.

And I know people are like 'So? Make new friends!' But the four of us have been best friends since grade one, when I lost the gold locket my mom had given me in the school playground. So after school the four of us went out and searched for four hours. We've been best friends ever since. You can imagine us like the Pretty Committee. Before Claire was accepted. Kristen, Massie, Dylan and Alicie were tight ... But then in P.S. I Loathe You Dylan steals Massie's ex, and there's no more PC!

So I've just written you all a novel! But I am in a really sad state right now. Everything was perfect Saturday, the four of us skiing/snowboarding and now...its different. :(

Anyway thanks for letting me rant. My mom said something about looking on the brightside, but right now, there isn't one. But...I do have over 50 reviews on Knowing Me, Knowing You. So thanks!

When you see my face hope it gives you hell hope it gives you hell. When you walk my way hope it gives you hell hope it gives you hell!

Oh trust me, its given me hell.

P.S. I Loathe You

Well I have to say that this Clique book was my absolute favourite out of the series. My favourite Dylan couple was the main one, Alicia once again branched off, but not with a new clique, Kristen found a new crush, and Claire is happy. Not once do you hear that Claire sniffled, cried, moped, bit her fingers or tore her cuticals. Clam was back and better than ever!
The book was in Massie, Dylan and Kristen's point of views. I adored that! Claire was barely in it, which I loved too, but was mentioned.
The end was what shocked me the most. WARNING: There may be spoilers in what I'm about to say!
Massie actually seemed like a normal person! She cried, she was nice and she...just made me love the Clique series again. I was getting pretty annoyed with it because it was just getting really fantasy-ish. I mean, who can turn trailers into diamond cases? But the end just made the book my favourite out of the whole series.
In a way, this book is like Best Friends Fornever, Revenge of the Wannabes and Bratfest at Tiffany's all in one.
But honestly, I find this was great! Plus, you get a page of Hugs and Disses stickers! I'm wearing Hawt x10 on my forhead right now ;)

Happy Valentines Day!

I'm back in Vancouver, and boy am I happy :)
Even though the snowboarding was awesome, I missed my city.

Anyway, its that time again. Its Valentines Day!! Yay, whoo, yippee! I LOVE V-day, even though most people think its just a 'greeting card holiday' I LOVE IT! I got home last night, to find my bedroom full of chocolates, flowers, teddy bears, balloons, and a bunch of other crap that I didn't even look at! I'll probably donate most of the teddy bears to a homeless shelter for kids and stuff. But jeez, I could barely open my door!

This year I'm single, and I don't like it as much as I thought I would. But whatevs, right? I hope you guys all are having a great Valentines day!!!

Oh and I will review P.S. I Loathe You tomorrow!

P.S. I Loathe You

Ok, my ski buddy Erica was reading my blog last night and saw that I didn't include a picture. Oops, sorry guys. Here it is.

So P.S. I loathe You came out today. Since there's no bookstore here, I can't read it :(

And I hate to say this but I was actually looking forward to reading it. So I'm getting back on Friday, I'll pick it up on the way home, read it and give it a review by Friday night. Alright?

Anyway I should get back to snowboarding.

Top 5 reasons why Whistler rocks

In case you didn't realize from the title, I'm in Whistler. I arrived last night, snowboarded till about three A.M. and then was in the outdoor hot tub for another two hours. So yeah, I never went to bed till close to 5:30. I got up maybe three hours ago. Then I boarded, and after about two hours I remembered to blog and check my e-mail.

Anyway, here's my top 5 reasons why Whistler rocks my warm fuzzy socks.

1. That picture above, yeah I boarded down that. I didn't go to the full top of that pointy thing, but the helicopter dropped me a few feet down from it.
2. Bikini boarding. Not only am I snowboarding in a hot pink bikini most of the time, but there are tons a hot, muscular guy in only shorts. I've already gotten 5 phone numbers.
3. The heliskiing. Well, boarding. It is so awesome! You go up in this helicopter and they lower you down to the mountain, and then bam, you're on this frickin HUGE cliff!
4. Olympic trainers. Already, there are a bunch of them, and its really intense to watch.
5. I am having the most fun I've had in a long, long time!!!!!!!!!!

So yeah. I wont blog that much this week, since I'm up here on vacation, but I will a few times :)

BTW, PS I loathe You comes out this Tuesday. And the Clique Prequel is called Charmed and Dangerous: The Rise of the Pretty Committee.
I have to give Lisi credit, I mean how can she come up with such awesome names?

Mamma Mia movie review

Alrighty, I watched Mamma Mia in the summer before I started a blog, so I never blogged about it. But it became one of my favourite movies ever.

Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) wants her father to walk her down the aisle for her wedding to Sky (Dominic Cooper). Only problem is that she doesn't know who her father is. After reading her mom Donna's (Meryl Streep) diary from the time she was expecting Sophie, she finds out she has three possible fathers. Sam (Pierce Brosnan), Bill (Stellan Skarsgard) or Harry (Collin Firth).

I love the music, I am a huge fan of ABBA. I love the dancing, I love the acting, I love the over all happy ending chickflick-ness to it. In the end, Sophie is happy, Donna is happy, and I was happy. Plus, Sky was pretty cute.

Dancing Queen was my favourite part. After Donna and her two best friends Tanya (Christine Baranski) and Rosie (Julie Waters) discover the three ex-es of Donna's past, Tanya and Rosie try to cheer her up with song and dance from the Dynamoes days. Donna cheers up and gets almost all of the women in their Greek village join in the song and it just looks great.

I thoght it was awesome. I saw the stage version on Broadway, and I found it didn't have that sparkle that the movie had. I was really impressed with Meryl Streep's singing and dancing. All the movie's I've seen with her in it are so serious.

Well, I really recommend you seeing it :)

Happiness make the world go round

Well, even though today is Monday and its an unspoken rule that I'm not happy on Mondays...I am.

There are several reasons as to why I'm joyful!
  • This really hot new guy, Tyler, just transfered to my school. He will ask me out by Wednesday, after meeting me and seeing how cute and adorable I am! *Bats eyelashes.*
  • Its almost Valentines day, and even though I'm single this year, I'm excited for it.
  • I bought new Christian Louboutin black leather pumps.
  • I'm writing a new Fanfiction story. Its very much like Maddie's Everything's Magic. Except my experience through ninth grade, aka Hell. Review it loves!
  • I'm going back to Kamloops on Saturday with some friends. As much as I hate Kamloops, I love it too, because its like part of my life.
  • Mid Winter break is next week! I was going to go to Big White Ski Hill in Kelowna with some friends, or Sun Peaks in Kamloops. But I decided they were lame so I'm heading out to Whistler. Home of the 2010 Olympics! I love snowboarding there!
  • I bought a new iPod nano, the new one, in green!

Yeah, those things make one perky. Well, that and lots of Starbucks!

Anyway, I should get started on my homework.

Why I hate cup cakes

Who hates cupcakes? I hate cupcakes!

Now, the reason I hate cupcakes is because of my stupid cupcake experience this morning.
Keep in mind that I am a very stubborn person. I will argue with you until you say I'm right, even if I'm wrong. And I like to do everything by myself with no help. So I cannot cook. At all. Neither can my mom, which is why we have chefs.
Anyway I had this craving for cupcakes this morning so I decided to bake some. I don't know why I didn't just go to the Little CupCake Company a few blocks away. My mom insisted I get Andrew -one of the little French gay chefs- to help me. But I'm stubborn. So after shooing everyone out of the kitchen I made cupcake batter with the help of Betty Crocker Rainbow Sprinkle mix.
I guess I might have filled the pans up with to much batter because when I checked on them they were like exploding over the sides! They were dripping onto the bottom of the oven and burning. Yummy.
So after finding Frieda and begging her to clean it and not tell my mom, I got Andrew to bake me some cupcakes.

I guess I don't really hate them, I was just mad that my cupcake experience didn't work. :( But now I'm eating a purple cupcake and watching Mamma Mia and singing Dancing Queen.

Well I am currently working on Knowing Me, Knowing You. I don't know if I want to make it a Massington. I don't know...they used to be my favourite but now...they're just so overplayed together. Maybe a Cassie?
I also have to get my lazy ass up to work on Apple-C with Jessica, When the Night Calls You and Perfect. Gah. I am the world's biggest procrastinator.

Happy February BTW.

Don't worry about me, I'm just dead

There you go, guys. The title says it all.

No, I'm not dead. But I could've been with all the studying I did. That's what kept me away from all that blogging funness. Exam month is January at my school, so I was studying all month. ALL MONTH! That's not even normal! But hey, it paid off. All A's and on B. Parents were so proud they bought me a car een though I got one for my birthday. Sadly, I can't drive either of them because I'm only 15. For my birthday last October they got me a cream coloured BMW Volkswagon convertible. And for passing all my mid terms I got the same car except pale pink. I have an obsession with all things pink.

Today I got off of my lazy butt and phoned some friends, but most of them were at this huge basket ball tournament thing. And I don't do sports. Ha, I am the worst athleticly challenged person ever. But that's why cheerleading was invented, I need to stay in shape with something other than pilates. So all day I was lonley and decided to hit up Chapter (Big book store in Canada, kind of like Barnes and Noble)

I ended up sitting there reading Seventeen, which by the way has Leighton Meester on it.

So that was my day and my reason for not blogging. Oh and I started yet another new story for the Clique fanfiction. I have problems with new stories.

Oh and its almost V-day!!

Happy late New Year

Hey y'all!

Ok, so techincally I'm late on the whole Happy New Year thingy, but whatevs. So happy OhNine!!!!! I WAS going to post yesterday, don't get me wrong, but parties were calling my name. Sadly, I spent almost all day at a bread and wine party with tons of my parents' high society friends. Joy.

And I kind of missed a Christmas blog...I'm not that good at this, ok? So, merry Christmas! I got like $400 to Chapters (it's a book store in Canada, kind of like Borders or Barnes and Nobles, except smaller) so I'll be reading until I'm eighty. My parents want me to be smarter, I assume.

My best friend, Jessica, is in England with her badass boyfriend, leaving me lonely in my time of need. Why is it my time of need, you ask? Because, my creepy cousin and family are staying in my guesthouse until their house renovations are done. Yes, and my cousin Veronica has a cat. A cat that is the size of a horse. A cat that just ate my new Kate Spade tote. I REALLY liked that purse. So I have no one to b!tch to, so it's my time of need.

Anyway. Hope you all had a great holiday season. School starts for me on Monday :(

:)
