I've been crazy busy with band, but I had to bring my laptop for homework and decided to be nice and blog.

Good Bye May!

Well I know I'm a little early for a So Long May tribute, but I'll be gone to New York until June 5th for band. So I have to do it now.

In May I:

-Met a guy

-Went to a dance with that guy

-Kissed that guy in the middle of a thunderstorm (It was romantic :)

-Lost a best friend

-Spilled a secret that wasn't mine to spill

-Failed a math test

-Gained a new friend

-Went to war with ex friend

-Bought a dress for prom

-Went to Victoria

-Came in first in a huge tennis match

-Discovered I could sing

I actually enjoyed this month, except for the falling out with a friend. But hey, that's life, right?

By the way, I somehow ended up signing up to sing 'No More' by Heidi Montag for my school Sing-a-palooza. Yeah, we actually have a Sing-a-palooza *hangs head in shame and embarrassment* But it's pretty fun sometimes.

And I'm a huge Heidi fan and the song is one of my favourites so I should do good!

Confuzzeled.........

I was looking through old folders and documents and crap when I stumbled across a story I was going to post, but then never did. It has some pretty good potential.

But it's a Massington. See, when I first started reading the Clique, I was one of those 'OMG MASSINGTON!!!!!' fangirls. Then, when I joined FF, I saw how many fangirls they had. And yet my love for them grew.

But sometime last year, I saw something called Tassie. OOO, the magical crackiness of MassiexTodd!!! Instantly, I was sucked in. I read everything about Tassie, and even started to write one (But I never finished it!).

Then during the summer, I came across MassiexDanny.

Now THAT is what I'm talking about!!! I mean, yeah all of those other Massiexsomeone couples are cool I guess. But Danny disappeared! He's all gone and stuff, and then the lovely writers of FF decided to bring him back!!!

So I guess my favourite couples would be:

Massie and Danny
Dylan and Derrick (!!! THIS IS THE BEST!!!!)
Claire and Josh
Kristen and Cam
Alicia and Chris Plovert

I have other favourites, but these are my main ones.

BTW, lovelies, I'll be gone for about four days because I have to go to Victoria!!!

Oh...

Ok, you know when you start something, and its kind of like 'I don't want to do this!', and then once its over, you're all sad?

Well that's like me and my friend Jessica (Girly.X.Girl from FF) about our collab, Apple-C.

When we first started, I didn't really want to do it. But today me and Jess were talking on MSN and we realized we're almost done the story.

Jessica: can you believe apple-c is almost done?
me: what?!? it is?!?! since when?!?!
Jessica: *shakes head* maggers, we only have like 6 more chapters...
me: NOOOO! dude ur joking, right?
Jessica: nope
me: rawr
Jessica: maggie im leaving you so you can have a panic attack
me: O___o

So, it kind of ended weird...but, seriously, when it ends I will be sad!

Oops......

Well I haven't done anything useful lately...It makes me feel kind of bad. Like, I haven't responded to any e-mails, I haven't updated or even worked on my stories, I haven't been practicing flute or piano, and I haven't gotten a manicure!

Honestly, all I've been doing is Facebooking, studying for finals, talking on Gmail and texting people like crazy!

I haven't even fed my dog! She's one of those mini eskimo puppies. She's white, weighs a kilo and is named Daisy :)

But I've had to get someone to feed her because I keep forgetting. I know, worst dog owner ever!

Determination

I'd have to say I'm the most determined person I know.

I hate giving up. Like today in cooking, my cookies tasted like sawdust, but now that I'm home (On Wednesday's I get a half-day), I'm trying to make them again. If they fail, I'll end up making them again.

That's probably a flaw of mine. I guess I have to much pride, and I'm determined that I can do everything.

Right now, I'm determined to improve my writing skills. My dream is to have a book on the Best Seller's list. I've wanted to be an author since before I can remember, and I've never let my writing go unnoticed.

Before I discovered Fanfiction, I would send my stories out to my family, and get their feedback on it. On short stories for Creative Writing, my short stories would end up being 54 pages long.

The Last Olympian

This is the final and best book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.

I cried when it ended. I actually cried during most of the chapters, but I'm super emotional so that's probably why.

[Taken from book summary]

All year the half-bloods have been preparing for battle against the Titans, knowing the odds of victory are grim. Kronos's army is stronger than ever, and with every god and half-blood he recruits, the evil Titan's power only grows.

While the Olympians struggle to contain the rampaging monster Typhon, Kronos begins his advance on New York City, where Mount Olympus stands virtually unguarded. Now it's up to Percy Jackson and an army of young demigods to stop the lord of time.

The book came out on Tuesday, May 5th, and I bought it that day. The reason it took so long for me to review it was because I didn't read the last three chapters until this morning.

I didn't want the series to end, so I put off reading the end and hid the book in my closet. But this morning I cracked, took it out, read it and then cried.

I loved this book the most because a) it was just amazing, b) There was FINALLY Annabeth and Percy lovey-doveyness and c) the detail, the plot, the descriptions and the whole book was epic.

I can't even describe it. But the end made me extremely happy, even though two of my favourite characters died (But at least they'll be in love down in Elysium!!!).

Anyway, I can't really say that much about it without giving stuff away. But in Rick's acknowledgments, he says -and I quote- 'As the first Camp Half-Blood series comes to an end...'

Anyone else catch the 'First'? Yeah, lovelies, there may be another. Especially with that new prophecy to worry about...

Don't worry, I'll stalk and annoy the crap out of Rick until I find out.

I copied this from Maddie's blog

Hey guys, sorry I didn't blog for a few days. I was at my cousins' house. Just a question: Is it normal for nine year olds to talk like stoners?

Anyway I was reading Maddie's blog (Welcome to Maddieland) and copied her.

1) What author do you own the most books by? Lisi Harrison...kind of pathetic.

2) What book do you own the most copies of? Um, The Lightning Thief. Three copies, one from mom, one from grandma and one from dad.

3) Did it bother you that both those questions ended with prepositions?Haha, not really. I noticed because I'm a total grammar snob, but it did not bother me ;)

4) What fictional character are you secretly in love with? Hm...I would have to say Percy Jackson from the PJO series. I have a thing for heroes and green eyes :)

5) What book have you read the most times in your life (excluding picture books read to children; i.e., Goodnight Moon does not count)? Gossip Girl. Ah, the memories of reading them.

6) What was your favorite book when you were ten years old? Little House on the Prairie.

7) What is the worst book you've read in the past year? The Amber Spyglass

8) What is the best book you've read in the past year? The Battle of the Labyrinth

9) If you could force everyone you tagged to read one book, what would it be? Ummm The Clique :)

10) Who deserves to win the next Nobel Prize for Literature? No clue. Rick Riordan maybe...

11) What book would you most like to see made into a movie? Hm...House of Night

12) What book would you least like to see made into a movie? The Ashleys.

13) Describe your weirdest dream involving a writer, book, or literary character. Well, I was on a plane, and then sitting next to me was Percy Jackson. We were called up to Mt. Olympus and Bella Swan was there to greet us. It was odd.

14) What is the most lowbrow book you've read as an adult? I am not an adult so I'm not sure.

15) What is the most difficult book you've ever read? The Host. I guess I was expecting it to be like Twilight, and it wasn't so I never got into it.

16) What is the most obscure Shakespeare play you've seen? Um, Midsummer Night's Dream.

17) Do you prefer the French or the Russians? Um French. Just because France is so beautiful.

18) Roth or Updike? Not really sure who or what Roth or Updike is.

19) David Sedaris or Dave Eggers? What is that?

20) Shakespeare, Milton, or Chaucer? Shakespeare, he's the only one I know.

21) Austen or Eliot? Austen.

23) What is your favorite novel? The Battle of the Labyrinth.

24) Play? Legally Blonde the Musical. Saw it on Broadway and adored it!

25) Poem? Don't have one.

26) Essay? Don't have one either

27) Short Story? I have too many to count!

28) Work of nonfiction? Hopefully by the time I'm out of college I'll have an answer to all of these questions.

29) Who is your favorite writer? Rick Riordan kicks ass!

30) Who is the most overrated writer alive today? Stephenie Meyer. Her series actually wasn't that great!

31) What is your desert island book? Hm, my Greek Myth Treasury. So many Greek Myths to pass the time away.

32) And... what are you reading right now? The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan!

:)
